A construction company which is also a distributor and applicator of construction chemicals with specialization in waterproofing seeks to hire a quantity surveyor or a building technologist whose responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• preparing of Bills of Quantities and Estimates for clients
• preparing  interim certificates for payment
• drawing site layout
• interpretation of drawings
• taking and checking of levels for site works
• preparation of material schedules
• monitoring of smooth flow of construction materials on site
• supervision of daily construction activities
• preparing of scope of works and programme of work using Microsoft Project Programme

Requirement/Skills

• Must be very conversant with construction chemicals and their application.
• Must demonstrate strong ability to market construction chemicals.
• Very strong project management and analytical skills
• Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills
• A proactive and initiative-taking attitude and approach to business
• Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve set targets
• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to get along well with everyone

             Qualifications 

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or any relevant field. Knowledge of, and experience in marketing is required
• At least 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
• Hands on experience/working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages
